NOTE:

No need to download new 1.03 data if you already have data from previous version. Obb file is in /sdcard/Android/obb/com.rockstargames.gtavc.

Rename file from main.7.com.rockstargames.gtavc.obb to main.11.com.rockstargames.gtavc.obb and it works with newer version of the game.

To prevent game data loss when uninstalling old version:

Savegames are in /sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtavc/files. Temporarily rename folder from com.rockstargames.gtavc to something else and it will not get deleted when you uninstall an older version.

You can also temporarily rename the obb folder so that it won't be deleted when removing the older version, saving you from having to copy over the obb file from your PC. Then just install version 1.03 and change back the names of the two folders before running the game. You can then resume your saved games from the older version without any problem.
